DESCRIPTION AND GOALS OF ADRIA-HUB PROJECT

Project description

Faculty of Engineering at University of Rijeka is from November 2012. a member of a consortium for realization of the project named "Bridge technical differences and social suspicions contributing to transform the Adriatic area in a stable hub for a sustainable technological development" with acronym Adria-HUB. Project consortium consists of 23 partners (10 universities, 5 public institutions and 8 consortium companies) from Croatia, Italy, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Project goal

The main goal of the project is building of international network of higher education institutions and companies to support Universities in harmonizing of education and research with the economy needs, creating a sustainable hub (Database) for employing of highly qualified graduates and connecting it with the database of consortium AlmaLaurea in Italy, creating of database of scientific and research services which are offered by Universities in Adriatic area, and application of gathered knowledge for inovations in economy, especially wood industry.

Project duration and financing

Project lasts for 3 years and it is co-financed by the Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).
