VIRTUAL REALITY ON CAD SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS

LABORATORY VR devices:

1. HTC VIVE with tripods is fully compatible with the CATIA V5 software solution and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

2. OCULUS RIFT

Description: Virtual Reality, VR (Virtual Reality) is a term used for 3D computer environments that allow the user to access and interact with alternative reality. The VR device introduces another dimension into the 3D design process and you can interact with your 3D models. It enables inspection of all parts of an assembly and virtual inspection of the mutual position of components, assembly and disassembly, measurement or validation, ergonomics analysis, etc. Some of the main advantages of VR implementation are:
  • Inspection, analysis and validation of the assembly or the entire product
  • Improving the method of education
  • Early detection of defects
  • Simulation of real situations

APPLICATION OF NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTS IN SHIPBUILDING

LABORATORY NDT UTZ device:

  1. EZ AVERANGER

Non-destructive testing by ultrasound has a very wide application in several technical fields, including shipbuilding. Ultrasound is used as a non-destructive method for determining the thickness of the structure, homogeneity, detecting defects / cracks, determining the depth of the crack, etc. for different materials and composite structures.
