Research Area:

The Laboratory for Acoustic Measurements deals with the generation and transmission of sounds through solid, liquid and gaseous matter, as well as with the consequences of exposure to sound, including biological and psychological effects.The research area of the Laboratory is focused on noise measurement and noise reduction of machines and devices.

Laboratory Equipment:

Class 1 Sound Meter Brüel & Kjaer Observer 2260, with frequency analysis and 3/8 octave filtering.

Class 2 Sound Meter Casella CEL-246 with calibration device.
